About a week ago I became fed up with the crappy “Front Row” on my laptop. If I shared our music from the iMac to the Lappy, we would get no album art work. How boring is that? Also, I have had a ton of problems with using the iMac to store all of our music from the lappy. (Basically having the lappy use a network drive.) So, I had heard that you can run the Apple tv software from any intel mac. It took a little over a week to find out how to do the hack online, but I finally found it and now it is up and running with no glitches or anything. I have been listening and testing all the aspects of it. I have come to the conclusion I am going to have to buy an apple tv if we ever get a new tv. You have to have a HDTV with HDMI input in order to use the Apple tv, and it doesn’t look like I am getting one of those any time soon. :-) Here are some pics for proof!
