Applecare to the Rescue!

Once again I have had some issues with an apple product of ours.  First, there was the ibook with a dead pixel that got lost in the mail (i.e. stolen) on it’s way to be fixed. Then there was the broken macbook cover. Now it’s a wireless mighty mouse that will not work properly. With all of these issues Apple has gone above and beyond what most companies consider customer service. When I had a dead pixel on our ibook, they sent me a box to ship it back to them and they were going to fix it for free! When that ibook got lost in the mail, about two months later (which seemed like an eternity) we received a brand new MacBook as a replacement! Then the “top” case broke on our MacBook and they replaced that for free (with free shipping both ways, of course). Now, I didn’t think something like my mighty mouse would be covered by Apple, but IT IS!!! I called them, told them what was going on with the mouse, and now I am supposed to be receiving a new mouse in the mail…free!  If you have not bought anything from Apple yet I would highly recommend it, and it is well worth it to purchase the Applecare plan.  Great products, great service.  (Plus everyone is doing it these days!)  :-)
