Last week Jake and I rode up to Kennesaw, GA with Jennie to help keep our cousins while their parents went out of town. Actually Jennie was enlisted to keep the kids, we just bummed a ride from her so we could get to Deena’s wedding. But we helped (and had fun) with the kids (5-year-old girl, 3-year-old twin boys), too. Jake had an especially close bonding time with one of the boys who’s still in the process of learning to go poopy on the potty. You can ask him about that. I just wanted to share some of the pictures we took while hanging out with them. They are adorable! And they’re sweet, too, which just makes them that much cuter. Diana, I am once again impressed by one of your many talents. I would like to know who that beautiful model is in the picture with Jake walking with the kids on the trail. Is she one of those models based in Atlanta? :)
Dave, I think it goes without saying that your girls are of course, THE cutest kids. That’s a given. Sarah knows that. I just meant BESIDES them, these are the cutest kids. :-)
By the way, what’s this I hear about you breaking your child’s arm? Do we need to come take those girls away from you?

Mu favorite picture is of Christopher with his hat. I think this is the only picture where he isn’t winking at the camera! And I love his beautiful yellow bracelet.

I think the only reason Chris isn’t winking in that picture is because he didn’t realize I was taking the picture until it was too late. Or maybe he is winking under that hat…I can’t really tell. :-)

Mikayla’s wrist, Dave version: We were practicing some MMA moves in the living room and I got her in a submission hold. Mikayla wouldn’t tap out so I had to teach her that if she didn’t tap out, she’d get hurt, sooooo, there went the wrist! :)
Mikayla’s wrist, The Real version: They were playing some game at Showaltter Park on one of the “bridges”??? She was pushed buy one of those mean Century kids and she fell off on her wrist. She now has a nice pretty pink cast. I was pushing for cammo or a Roll Tide cast, but pink won!

Ok, it’s taken me a month to log on and start reading both your’s and Jen’s blogs but I think I may be hooked. Thanks again for the great pictures. Diana, I see a very lucative profession in the making for you. They are some of best pictures I have of the kids. And yes, I think they are the cutest kids but I’m their Mommy. Jake, you must have done something with Matt and the potty training. He is now 100% potty trained and I’m giving you all the credit. By the way, they asked for you everyone morning for a week after you guys left. Where’s Jake..Where’s Jake.. so yes they did know your name. Thanks again for all the help.
