This weekend we have had Andrew and Robert staying here with us. Andrew had some school project he had to do, so he thought it would be a good idea to have the help of the two most creative people he knows. We traveled around and took some footage of New Orleans, and set it to “What a Wonderful World.” You can see the final product below. Keep in mind it was thrown together pretty quickly. I think he did a pretty darn good job. Also, I got to take them on my now normal 14 mile bike loop! :-) (I am really enjoying bike riding lately) Robert started off the ride just fine, but about a mile into it his tire went flat, so I came back home and got the another bike for him. Then when we got back to the house Andrew blew out his back tire! Fun times. Two days of great soccer games on tv, eating great food in the city, playing some music with two kids we taught how to play their instruments, and getting to hang with some friends all at the same time….Awesome! I also secretly recorded one of the songs we banged out in the living room. Crappy recording, but you can hear Robert go off on the djembe.

Good job guys! I was waiting for Jake to show up in the video at Cafe Du Monde! I think that would be great background music for a “Beat-nick” open mic night.
