Since Diana got her fancy dancy camera I have been wanting to try my hand at this picture taking business. For the past several months I have hounded Diana to let me take some pics of her. So, tonight I finally convinced her and we set up a little portrait session in the living room. First I have to say that my wife = patience! :-) I took a ton of pictures….. and here are the ones that made it past the trash.
Before all the comments start pouring in, let me just say that I know I’m the greatest photographer in the world. :-)
Besides feeling really weird about having pictures of me all over the place, I really don’t like the one of me laying down on the couch. I look dumb. Jake, however, would not let me delete. That being said, I am impressed with my husband’s ever growing list of talents and abilities. With him crossing over into my realm of hobbies, I’m thinking maybe I should take up soccer or something. :-)

FINALY! Pictures of Diana! I was beginning to forget what she looked like! haha!! :) Jake, they are fantastic!
I love the one that is full color of her sitting on the couch with her legs crossed! I think you should send it to Vogue or some magazine. :)
And Diana, you do not look dumb laying on the couch. it’ looks relaxed. kinda reminds me of our dorm.
I also happen to think your living room is pretty cool.
The only reason those pics are great is because of the model in them! I didn’t know there was a modeling agency in NOLA?????? :)

Alright, alright! I was just trying to make fun of jake (like always!) and say that the only reason the pictures were good was because of Diana being in them. I was also trying to pay Diana a compliment! (Weight watchers!!! Em and I have taken a stress hit!) You guys happy now!!! They’re good pics!

Rich, one thing you must learn—there is ALWAYS a funny. It’s just a matter of seeing it and taking it. I’m a little disappointed. I thought more highly of your ability to make fun. I’m also a bit confused as to why you think our posts are always serious. We always throw in a little sarcasm (at least if I have anything to with it), which sets you up to return with even more sarcasm. That’s what we love about comments on our blog. I’m ready to see you step up your game a bit.
