Don’t you just want to come get candy from us? Sitting there all welcoming on our porch with a basket full to the brim with candy? Well, a few kids in the neighborhood felt the same way. I’m pretty sure it was our awesomeness that drew them in…I think they just considered the candy a nice little bonus… We do have plenty of candy left over, though, which I will certainly NOT allow to go to waste. Not when there are starving children in Ethiopia or wherever. My Mama taught me better than that.
Lola has been with us for 3 days now, and it has been an experience to say the least. I’m sure we’ll all be great friends eventually, but for now we’re trying to get used to her and she’s trying to get used to us, and it’s not happening without a few bumps in the road. But she is beautiful; there’s no denying that. What’s that? Oh, you’re still waiting on pictures of her, aren’t you? Yeah, we’ll get around to that as soon as we can get her to stand still for half a second. Just be patient (which I will try to do, as well).

Dogs is just like children, you gots ta beat em into submission!! Just ask my children! They get their beatins every night ‘fore bed weither they need em or not! That’s why they behave so good!! :)
I don’t know, that picture looks a little scary to me! I am sure it was the candy that got the children to climb the stairs.
OK, you know Chris and Matt are gonna love Lola. You will have to bring her home for Thanksgiving so we can meet her. The first question they will have though is where’s Charlie? Congrats on the house and jobs. Maybe Uncle Darrell and I can make a trip to see you guys. We’ll leave the Charlie and Lola fanatics with Uncle Randy.
