Well, there it is. It’s really quite an interesting contraption. And quite heavy. It’s been interesting watching (and listening!) to Jake and Andrew attempt to teach themselves this new instrument.
So far all Jake’s got for us is Amazing Grace. He’s still working on it though. I haven’t yet tried my hand at it, but I will eventually. For now, I can’t really get it out of Jake’s hands. :-)
Jake and Andrew did try a more unique, more cooperative approach at one point. Jake laid down on the couch and squeezed it in and out (to produce the sound) while Andrew played it like a keyboard. Fun to watch, but not exactly the most effective way of doing things.
So do we call him “Dot” now???? I don’t have too much to say right now. The Pics pretty much speak for themselves. I guess he could become the next Weird Al. He looks the part, especially if he lets the Fro out!!
hmm, i can only imagine the sounds coming out of that thing. and leave it to jake and andrew to come up with a new way to play it!
