Even when things don’t go as planned, I’m learning. I took this picture this morning (and imported and uploaded it, thus making me about 5 minutes late to work. I would have been later, but strangely enough I hit every green light…maybe a couple yellows…). Yesterday when I declared my new year’s resolution of a blog every day for 2009, I started to say that I would also take and post at least one picture every day. I decided that would take a little too much time and commitment, and I don’t want to be making promises I can’t keep. I will, however, continue in the spirit of that goal. I’ll TRY (no promises here) to have a different picture for you guys each day, and I’ll TRY to make it a recently taken one. I may pull out some old pictures to share. I may not post a picture at all. But I’m going to at least try. As for the picture above, that’s my favorite travel mug. I really enjoy mornings. Especially mornings with coffee. :-)

She was pretty funny to talk to. And I was extremely impressed with her on target pronunciation of “dulce de leche.” What other 2nd grader can pull that off? :-) I was also impressed with Sarah’s honesty when I asked her what she did today. Her answer? “I made a mess in my room.” :-) We miss you guys so much!
Since you have promised to blog everyday, the least I can do is promise to read it everyday! I love being able to keep in touch with you guys. Love the dianabondurant.com website. I can’t wait for you to take pictures of the kids at the beach this spring or summer.
