As I mentioned before, I may pull out some old pictures from time to time. This is one of those. I took this picture last summer when we were home at some point. This is Jake’s VW bus. It’s really cool except for the fact that it doesn’t run. And the electrical stuff (blinkers, etc.) doesn’t work. And it needs new breaks. And the interior needs to be reupholstered. And all the little rubber doo-dads around the windows that keep the rain out need to be replaced. And some other things that I don’t understand. But other than that…
It’s Jake’s dream to have this thing as our primary vehicle. At the moment, however, it lives in Mr. Joe’s back yard. I think it looks really cool, but prefer a vehicle that runs. Call me spoiled. Eventually we will save up the money that is required to restore this thing to it’s former glory, and then our kids (I’m being hypothetical here) will either think we’re the coolest parents ever, or they’ll think they’ve been cursed with the goofiest, most embarrassing parents ever. I’m leaning towards the latter.

Does former glory mean detailed with flowers, rainbows, and “PEACE” written on both sides????? :) That things gonna have critters livin in it before you get it fixed, but it is a groovy ride man.
I dont think Diana would let me go with the whole flowers and rainbows theme.
One more comment and you will be at 100 comments!!! I am so impressed!
I was hoping to put #100 on the last post, but Diana had to go and post a “serious” one (BTW I’ve got the first post on the other site I think, 99 to go on that one, and you’ll do just fine Diana). So with that being said, I’d like to thank the Academy, my producers…sorry, wrong speech. :) It’s hard to believe that I’ve left my little nuggets of wisdom/humor 100 times. I’ve enjoyed keeping up with you guys and giving you a laugh because it truly is the best medicine(Prov. 17:22). I hope that I’ve been able to bring a smile to your day, and some encouragement to your lives. Keep the blogs coming and I’ll try and reach 200 posts soon. As for me, I’ve got soccer on the TV and a baby in the bed, and the house to myself. Hurray for me!!!!!!
