We spent the whole day working in the bathroom today. I’m exhausted, but it’s the good kind of exhausted. The kind that says, “I’ve actually done something productive and accomplished something today.” It’s nice. There’s still much more to be done in the bathroom, but we are inching our way closer and closer. I know you people are tired of hearing about Sam and our soon-to-be bathroom, but really, that’s what comprises our life at the moment. So that’s what you get.
Although I could talk for a minute about how unimpressed I am with our new president’s press conference skills. To be such a powerful and eloquent speaker, he sure doesn’t work well off the cuff. We watched a little bit of tonight’s press conference, and the uhhhs, and ummms, and st-stutters, and pause…after…every…word…was almost more than I could stand. I know the man is intelligent and has some good ideas, but his PR people really need to work with him on how to speak without a teleprompter. I just kept hearing that guy from Saturday Night Live. Did any of you watch the press conference? What do you think?
