There’s always one

We don’t have cable, so we rely on an antenna for our TV watching.  Lately we have had a lot of difficulty getting FOX to come in, so we’ve been missing American Idol.  Yesterday, FOX decided to come in again, so tonight we were able to watch American Idol for the first time in a few weeks.  I have one name for you:  Tatiana del Toro.  Really?  I’m not even going to comment.  Just google her name and see for yourself.  I have serious concerns about this one…

In local news, Deuce McAllister is released from the Saints and Tyson Chandler is traded to Oklahoma City.  It’s like complete upheaval around here.  It’s all the news channels are talking about.  It’s intriguing really, how much this city revolves around sports, specifically the Saints.  Deuce is like royalty around here.  It’s going to be interesting to see how things play out over the next few weeks.

Don’t forget to comment on the giveaway post for your chance to win!  I’m lovin’ the comments so far.  You people make me laugh.

You guys need a digital converter box. Some stations already switched over last night, some will wait till June. Once that date hits, Your antenna won’t work. You can get one at Wal Mart for 40-50 bucks, but our “wonderful” government is giving away $40 off coupons (which they ran out of, hence the wait till June). you can apply for one here: https://www.dtv2009.gov/

I heard about all the crazy sports stuff last night. I don’t know how the NOLA fans are gonna cope :)

Dave–don’t you remember the gigantic, ridiculous, plasma TV and HD antenna my spoiled husband got for his birthday last year? We’re definitely DTV ready. FOX is just finicky sometimes.

I figured as much with the Techo-nerd living in your house. I just wanted to pass along the info in case for some reason you haven’t heard. I know how Seminary life can sometimes shelter you from what’s going on in the outside world. :)
