Just because it’s been a while, here’s a quick 10 things to catch you up on our life:
1. Diana finished editing the three consecutive weddings she’d been working on. (Hooray!)
2. Jake has just about talked Diana into buying an iPhone (stay tuned for the actual outcome).
3. Jake made pancakes for breakfast this morning.
4. Sam doesn’t poop in the house nearly as often anymore.
5. Jake is discovering how aging prevents the body from being able to withstand injury as it once did (along those lines, he’s also discovering the beauties of a heating pad).
6. Jake & Diana’s kitchen is completely clean (as in NO dirty dishes whatsoever) for the first time in weeks. (I know…shameful, isn’t it?)
7. JakeandDiana.com’s one-time faithful commenter who has recently shown a pattern of slacking (i.e. Dave) is coming to visit next week.
8. With 4 weeks of summer youth camp under his belt (and having a total of over 100 neighborhood kids walk through the church gate), Jake’s ghetto vocabulary is growing by leaps and bounds.
9. The corolla is actually working properly for right now.
10. Diana has been doing a little more blogging over at dianabondurant.com/blog than she has been here at JakeandDiana.com. She plans to correct that soon. But we all know how Diana’s plans tend to turn out…

1. Our little girl is due 4 weeks from today!
2. David is enjoying his wonderful new job as a Children’s Minister.
3. Erin is excited to be progressing in getting the nursery finished. YAY!
4. Erin is sad her items aren’t as interesting as Jake & Diana’s, but Jake & Diana have always been more interesting than us! ;)
David is in bed so this is his wife Emily.
1. Davis will be gone to Jake and Diana’s all next week!
2. I finally finished Sarah Grace’s Baby scrapbook.(She’s just turned four.)
3. We have VBS this week and I am teaching 3rd graders. I had some of the students from my school come. They were glad to see that I was going to be their teacher for VBS.
4. Mikayla will be going to Children’s camp for the first time and I won’t be there.

1. I pretty much surrendered to God calling me into some kind of ministry.
2. I have a teaching job for this next year at Flomaton Elementary. They are not sure what grade yet. Pray that it is NOT kindergarten.
3. Mrs. Esther may be “sneaking” me in to Children’s Camp this Thursday. :)

1. We gave in and paid for cox which is the only reason I can actually get online now to read your blog.
2. I have adjusted to living in the box although I still whine occasionally.
3. My husband hasn’t killed me for watching too much HGTV and TLC yet…one tv set isn’t quite enough for the Gartmans:)
