Today was gorgeous. And although I’ve felt miserable today, just like I have every day for the last, oh… 5 WEEKS OF MY LIFE, I ventured out to join Jake for a round of disc golf. You know, because Dave isn’t around anymore for him to play with. I’m really not much of the disc golf player, so I mostly just followed Jake around the course. Oh, and I brought my camera with me. For a while now I’ve been wanting to start “Desktop of the Month” post where I offer up a photo intended to be used as a desktop background, but I’ve just not gotten around to doing it yet. Today I finally got started. Don’t worry, I don’t intend for you to use the fabulous picture of Jake missin… ahem. I mean tossing a disc at the basket. See, I’m kinda picky about my desktop background. I want it to be visually pleasing, but not overwhelming. I like clean looks. I don’t want it to distract from everything else I’ve got going on in the life of my computer since it is, after all, intended to be a background. Not a focal point. So anyway, here’s my first offering. I’m actually going to be posting these on my photography blog, so I’m linking to that blog here:

Enjoy.

Hey guys, Thanks for making me feel loved. The closest course to me is over 30 min away. We’ll be down March 29-April 2. Hey Jake, nice miss, err…. shot!
Your guys should stay a lot longer than a week, i know where a house is. :-) They have started working on the other side of the park now. They almost have the bridge finished, so right now hole number 4 is out.
