To post or not to post?

I am of the opinion that posting your ultrasound photos on facebook and such is just kinda weird. I mean, it’s a picture of your insides. Yes, there happens to be a baby in your insides, but it’s still your insides. If you disagree with me, or have posted ultrasound pictures before, please don’t be offended. We just happen to have different views on the matter. That’s okay. I’m well acquainted with disagreeing, and it doesn’t bother me at all.

However… Yesterday we got to hear our baby’s heartbeat for the first time (amazing!), and we had another ultrasound. The first one, 4 weeks ago, was nothing but a little spot on a screen. The doctor told us it was a baby, so we took her word for it. Though there was a part of me that still wasn’t convinced. Yesterday’s ultrasound, though, at only 10 1/2 weeks, looks like a real baby. It’s incredible. I texted the picture to a few people that I knew (or thought at least) would be interested. I’m still not going to post it to facebook, but I’m starting to wonder if our blog readership would be interested in seeing little Baby Bondo. What do you think? Post it? Keep it to ourselves and only show people who ask to see it? This is where you people get to speak up and make a decision. To post or not to post?

Of course you should share it. Sentimental people like that kind of thing.
