As of today, I’m actually 22 weeks, 1 day, but we took this picture on Friday. I’m reaching the point where I’m feeling that I look very “mom-ish,” and I’m not quite embracing the look. No offense meant to moms, of course…I’ll be joining the ranks in a few months. But it’s not exactly easy to have an ever-growing belly and still pull off a I-promise-I’m-still-young-and-cool look. At least not on my budget. So here I am in all my I-shop-in-the-maternity-section glory. :-)

On a side note, this picture was totally not set up. Sam just didn’t want to get down off the couch, so we decided to let him be a part of this one. :-)
Also, in other pregnancy news, I’m FINALLY feeling Noah move. I’ve been told I should have started feeling it around 16 weeks, and maybe I did and just didn’t know it, but here I am 6 weeks later, and now I’m pretty dang sure it’s him I feel. Jake can even feel him move sometimes. So fun!

(P.S. – if you’re interested in comparing this to the last “belly pic” we took, check out this post from around 4-ish months)
I understand the feeling, Diana. I really don’t like the way I look pregnant. It makes you feel so old and like your waddling around. Oh, well. At least pregnancy doesn’t last forever, and you will eventually be back to your normal size. I still felt young when I had just one baby. With two, I think I’m officially a MOM. :)
LOVE the new look- both for your blog and for you!! you look BEAUTIFUL!! can’t wait to see some official maternity pics!!!
You look great! Don’t worry, I’m sure you will have your girlish figure back in no time after the baby is born. However, you may have some dark circles around those eyes from lack of sleep. Enjoy being pregnant while you still can, towards the end all you will want to do is get it over with! You’ve always been a beautiful young lady and you are a radiant mom. I look forward to seeing you guys soon. Keep an extra eye on my girls while they’re in Flomaton. I hate that we’re missing all the fun. See you soon.
You look beautiful, Diana! Pregnancy really sits on you well. Don’t worry about just now feeling Noah move. They say 16 weeks is the earliest people feel them move and most don’t feel their baby until way later especially since it is your first baby. It is very normal!
