Two of our favorite girls were in town this week, and Sunday afternoon we kidnapped them from their grandparents for a few hours of exhaus…ahem…I mean, fun. :-) No really, it was a lot of fun. And exhausting. But also fun. We had a fancy lunch at Mickey D’s and then headed out to the playground and…. *drumroll* SPLASH PAD!!! Who knew that something so fun could be FREE?! I love it! Of course I snapped a few pictures…
I love the look of utter delight on their faces. :-) We finished off the afternoon with some ice cream and then back home to clean up for church that night. So much fun! Now we’re trying to figure out what exactly we have to do to get their parents to move back closer to us already…
Yea, they play like that in the backyard when I turn the hose on ‘em! Moving back, well………..you know!
I always pass by that when I’m visiting my parents. Looks like so much fun!
Hannah – It IS so much fun! And they have a couple of pavilions so that those who choose not to get soaked can stay out of the sun. Of course, you’ll need to grab a kid to take with you if you want to play in it, or you may get some strange looks from concerned parents. :-) The next time you and Helen are in town at the same time, you should SO take her over there.
